Ok, so I only got the forester 01.08.13

I knew straight away something had to be done!!!

this is how we got it

wanted to start with a service as I had no record of what had been done and when.

this snowballed into...well might as well do.....if your doing......

which meant I was no longer capable of doing it myself so away it went to TAG Motors in Coventry

they gave it a full service including belts, tensioners and water pump

as it had brake judder and frankly no good brakes! Tom fitted new disks and pads all round and serviced the callipers so they could work properly!

along with that it needed steering gators doing plus I got them to fit whiteline steering rack mount bushes.

the ride height was on the list! so I had some newage impreza wrx suspension fitted...although to did have to use my original top mounts! these also needed rear camber bolts.

I had to also bin off the 'coat hanger' standard rear anti roll bar in favour of a classic impreza sti 20mm one. this also had poly bushes.

After that it had full 4 wheel alignment.

this is how it looks now

TAG sorted out all the service bits for me and carried out the work.  http://www.tagmotorservices.com/ (temporary website!)

AS Performance sorted my bolts and bushing along with a large bucket full of advice! http://asperformance.com/

Second hand bits came from someone I wouldn't recommend for quick service - but we got there in the end.

the car is an excellent drive now and will only get better!

plans to come..........

it has some paint issues on the roof I am sorting at the moment

it needs a damn good cut and polish as there are no end of swirl marks on it.

I am on the case of clear side repeaters

will soon be picking up a front strut brace

looking for a rear strut brace

talking mrs yas into a nice exhaust (she likes this one as its quiet!)

looking for a double din stereo

looking for a boost gauge

getting some classic impreza front seat soon but not sure if they will work or not!

hoping to get a black/white check boot mat

I should stop listing wants as its getting longer!!!!

I will take and post more pics along the way.....even if only for my own entertainment!!!

mainly for the flatter side wall fella.

with the car lowered (when really loaded and only over bumps at 70ish) the rear scrapes a bit.

mrs yas was not happy!

hoping the flatter side wall would cure it :unknw:

Nice one.

What colour and style are the alloys?

Look forward to seeing them once they're done and on the car.

OZ multi spoke style currently in battered bubbled up gold...

Just about to be shot blasted and painted gun metal.

Look forward to seeing that.

Not sure gold would really suit yours, so good plan to change!

Too right!! I knew they needed refurbishment so they were never staying gold! I was going black but worry you won't see the wheels so going gunmetal gives me the dark looks I want while getting the definition of the spokes.

Okay so a woman can change her mind!!!

The wheels will now be black!!!
